We are happy to welcome Eli Bamberger, our new language assistant from Berkeley, California, to our school. Since October, he has been teaching our students about American culture and has made it possible for them to learn from a native speaker.
Eli has also been kind enough to answer a few questions for us.
- First impression of Austria?
–> My first impression of Austria was Vienna and I thought the buildings were beautiful, but the atmosphere was very chill. - Funniest German word you’ve learned so far?
–> The funniest German word I’ve learned so far is Ödögidöcki. - Biggest difference between school in the US & here?
–> In the US every class is with a different group of students depending on the subjects they chose. - Perfect free day = ?
–> My perfect day would be waking up early in the mountains, reading or writing something, eating a giant American breakfast, going skiing all day, going to a fancy restaurant for dinner, then going to a concert.
